Alla Prima is an Italian term meaning “at first.”

In this workshop, students will complete a painting in one session, wet-on-wet. This type of painting is a great opportunity for artists to develop their skills in quick decision-making, spontaneity, and working with paint in a loose and expressive manner. The goal is to capture the essence of the subject matter and create a painting with a sense of energy and vitality.
