Steve Miller tells imaginative and expressive stories about people, places and things that intrigue him, either with paint or through songwriting. Steve earned a BFA in studio art in 1995 from the University of Oklahoma, continuing his art practice while working as an art director at multiple midwest advertising agencies. In 2002, Steve began practicing art full time. Since then, he’s participated in over 70 exhibitions across the country including showings at commercial and non-profit galleries as well as alternative spaces. His artwork has been published in juried periodicals, and his paintings reside in many private collections. His band, Raccoon Dogs, performs regularly in metro Detroit.

Our open registration makes it is easy to get involved. You are free to register for most of our classes whenever you are ready. No need to wait for a new semester or for an annual enrollment to begin.
